Crazy Famous

Crazy Famous FaceBook Page

Is a three piece high energy rock trio from Northern California who are creating the kind of music they want to hear, and believe you will too.

From the start Crazy Famous has been known for their very tight, high energy, live shows and huge onstage presence. Though the band itself is only a year and a half old, performing is not new for Crazy Famous.  All are former members of a wide variety of bands, from Punk, to metal, hardcore, pop, acoustic, and electronic.

Brandon Hassur guitar/vocals  (Pumps:Fire, Wen, Learn and Fail)

John Brandau drums/vocals  (Frequency Murder, Pevensy, Glory)

K.C. Mosso bass/vocals  (Pumps:Fire, Fat Sack, Elsie Allen)

Crazy Famous' rock and roll sound is influenced by many of the greats old and new, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Kinks, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, ACDC, The Talking Heads,  The Clash,  Jimi Hendrix, The Cure, The Pixies, The Ramones, The Police, Fugazi, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, John Lee Hooker and more. They manage to bring the soul of these and many other influences into songs that are  100% Crazy Famous.  They've also been known to throw a cover or two into the set with a Crazy Famous twist of course.

In less than a year and a half as a band, the boys have recorded and produced a 10 track self titled demo album, produced 2 professional music videos, and booked and played a West Coast tour. The band is currently in the process of recording 4 new tracks in preparation for an entirely new album and music videos with a tour to follow.

This first year and a half has just been the warmup. Crazy Famous' self booked 2009 United States West Coast tour has gained the band  wide spread attention not only as a great up and coming band, but also as a professional, independent DIY force.

While opening for bands such as Langhorne Slim, The Black Hollies, Steve Pile, and sharing the stage with former Dire Straits Guitarist Jack Sonni, Crazy Famous is on track to living up to its name.
