Crowding Bay Area dance floors with there distinct brand of entertainment, headliner Superbad is ready to stir any size event, party, or wedding. Six-foot-six Band leader Henry Lange embraces the audience with engaging character. ‘Superbad, has a large presence and energy on stage, my job is to bring that energy to everyone in the room,’ expresses the lead vocalist. SuperBad performs a variety of musical styles ranging from 70’s, 80's & 90's working hard at maintaining a top-tier position in the Bay Area club circuit. Says Lange: ‘The band continuously works at keeping with current musical trends putting a current spin on a strong collection of standards in our repertoire.’

Although a four-piece lineup, SuperBad produces a rich full sound: drummer/vocalist Paul Batras and Bassist Danny Pisano drive the rhythm section, allowing accomplished guitarist Russ Pettit freedom to texture the top end. While Paul and Danny provide a sturdy base, Russ can play anything from a Motown rhythm comp to a searing jazz flourish. ‘I base each show on the tempo and feel of the audience, so it is essential that I have a group of pros that can respond. We like spontaneity, so every performance is exciting and different,’ notes Lange. In addition to a rock solid lineup, SuperBad draws from today’s technology to broaden the bands sound and deepen the assortment of tunes. ‘If we need a horn section, or an orchestral passage, Russ can trigger a keyboard arrangement that he has played and digitally sequenced with exacting detail, Bringing the energy and excitement of their live show to private events throughout the Bay Area.

HE'S KNOWN TO GIVE IT HIS ALL WITH HIS ENERGETIC FIST PUMPING, HEAD NODDING, BODY MOVING STYLE, OFTEN BREAKING OUT WITH SCRATCHING, BEAT JUGGLING & TRICK MIXING IN HIS SETS...DRIVING CROWDS INTO A WILD PUMPING FRENZY.
